Digital Audio Broadcasting

Digital Audio Broadcasting is a digital radio standard for broadcasting digital audio radio services in many countries around the world. It's been gaining popularity since it first came out, and with good reason. DAB has a number of benefits that make it better than traditional AM/FM analog broadcasts, including: higher sound quality, more channels available, increased coverage area due to low frequency signals, and access from mobile devices without an internet connection.

- Better sound quality. DAB uses digital audio transmissions with less noise and greater dynamic range.

- More channels available. Digital signals can carry more than one channel on the same frequency, so you don't need to switch frequencies as frequently (if at all).

- Allows you to listen while driving without using data on your phone, which can get expensive!

- Increased coverage area due to low frequency signals. Instead of being limited by high signal strength required for mobile devices, DAB is transmitted using very low power FM radio waves that travel much further distances. This allows people in rural areas access without an internet connection or streaming service subscription via their phone, tablet, computer etc..

- Access from mobile devices without an internet connection. As long as your device has a built-in receiver it will be able to function anywhere there's DAB reception.

All of these benefits make DAB a great option for listening to your favorite stations all day long! If you haven't tried it yet then now is definitely the time to give it a shot--you won't be disappointed!
